We are thrilled to be able to share with you the results of our newly-published school inspection.
The Independent Schools Inspectorate – the independent schools’ version of Ofsted, regulated by the DfE – appraises and evaluates schools against five standards set by Parliament, over three rigorous days of scrutiny.
Lessons were observed, extra-curricular activities were sampled, pupils and staff were asked for their thoughts, and policies were scrupulously examined during our inspection back in March.
The new ISI framework means there are no longer any ‘one word’ judgements nor degrees of excellence in performance. Schools either ‘meet’ the standards, or they fail.
We are delighted and so very proud to let you know that in the case of all five metrics – Leadership and management and governance, Quality of education and training and recreation, Pupils’ physical and mental health and emotional wellbeing, Pupils’ social and economic education and contribution to society, and Safeguarding – all of the standards were ‘met’.
Our heartfelt thanks go to our entire family of hard working, dedicated Mylnhurst staff for such a magnificent result, and to all our wonderful children who acquitted themselves so confidently in conversation with the inspectors.
We have always known how lovely school life is here at Mylnhurst. We are humbled and delighted that the inspectors could clearly see it, too.
