Swimming at Mini Mylnhurst Nursery

New for 2021, Swimming lessons for Nursery children.

The recent addition of on site swimming lessons for our Nursery children has been a huge hit with parents and children alike. Our qualified and experienced instructors from Water Merlins enjoy spending time in the water with small groups of children encouraging confidence, enjoyment and instilling pool/water safety from a young age.

Timetable Developments and Sessions

Currently, the Nursery is excited about the phasing in of a new pattern of delivery. Child-led learning through play will continue to be at the very heart of Mylnhurst’s Nursery; our new structure will ensure that children can enjoy each of the additional enrichments to our curriculum during their time with us.

As part of this enrichment programme, our weekly timetable offers specialist music, languages and Fit Tots sessions. We are also looking to provide Swimming sessions when it is safe to do so. Our children learn about healthy choices through cookery lessons, which take place each half term. Phonics and ‘mathematics meetings’ will take place every morning.

We are delighted to announce that Chef Gareth’s delicious, home-made lunches are now going to be available for our Nursery pupils. Nutritionist approved and catering to most dietary requirements, Gareth’s lunches are available for £3.30, including a yummy main meal, dessert and fruit.

We are also expanding our provision of holiday clubs through the brilliant Camp Merlins where children can continue their enjoyment of our facilities and friendships.

Fee Structure

As part of our fee structure, the Government’s FEL funding is available, which means our hourly fees range between £6.00 and £10.50 dependent on the sessions your child attends.
