‘The Mylnhurst way’
Mylnhurst Prep School and Nursery is an exceptionally special place for children to learn, grow and play. Welcoming boys and girls from 3 – 11 years old, ours is a school that values the individual. With a teacher and teaching assistant in each of our classes, every pupil is given the time and attention to discover their talents and interests, and to be given the challenge and support so that they thrive both academically and socially.
Wellbeing and pastoral care are at the heart of all we do. We recognise that achievement is only possible when children are happy and safe. Our curriculum places equal value on the arts and sport, as it does the core subjects. Good manners, respect, confidence, and an innate sense of right and wrong are taught both explicitly and by being immersed in an environment where happiness and high expectations are the norms.
Our students benefit from having our incredible on-site facilities to themselves, as well as specialist teachers who are passionate about their subjects but understand the pedagogy of outstanding primary education. The latest technology is embedded throughout our lessons and our children are prepared to enter a world that none of us can yet imagine. Mylnhurst is a Catholic foundation, welcoming children of all faiths and none.
