Our House Times Tables competition was an amazing morning of mega multiplication!
Medals went to the three highest scorers in Preps 1&2, 3&4, and 5&6 – and to the overall highest-scorer, Takuma in Prep 5, who filled in an incredible 174 correct answers in three quickfire minutes. That’s almost exactly one right answer a second!
The lightning-fast speed with which all the children were able to recall their multiplication tables and number bond facts – especially given the added pressure of our Mission Impossible theme soundtrack! – was astonishing.
The winning House (once the teachers had completed their own high-pressure job of adding up and aggregating the whole school’s scores!) was McAuley.
Huge well done to all the children – you’re all times tables rock stars!
