Huge well done to our wonderful Harriet in Prep 3, who enjoyed an absolutely unforgettable experience with a starring role at the International Horse Trials at Blenheim Palace!
Harriet was selected as one of just 30 Pony Club children from all over Great Britain to attend the opening ceremony of the trials, which feature four days of dressage, cross country and showjumping.
Harriet was a part of the Parade of Nations, led by Pony Club flag bearers and followed by each competing team – made up of 55 of Europe’s top eventers, including Team GB and many Olympic medalists.
Harriet led out Team Austria, making a memory that will stay with her forever.
The opening event included a dramatic parachute display, the symbolic Handover of the Flags, and a flying display by the Red Arrows, and the afternoon continued with the First Horse Inspection – where every horse taking part in the trials was presented in immaculate condition before the Ground Jury.
Enormous well done, Harriet! Everyone at Mylnhurst is so proud of you.
