As the evenings get darker, the days get cooler, and the trees in our beautiful school grounds begin to put on their stunning display of autumn colours, our thoughts here at Mylnhurst turn to one of our favourite times of the year: our annual Harvest Collection.
For many years, we have supported the wonderful work of the St Wilfrid’s Centre on Queens Road, a busy place striving hard with limited resources, which relies on volunteers to address the physical and pastoral needs of those who are down on their luck.
This is our chance to give them a helping hand and, each year, our Harvest Collection gathers much-needed food items for the centre.
We are so very aware we ask so much of our children and families here at Mylnhurst. But we would be so grateful if you could take a look at the ‘wanted’ list we have communicated for each child’s class and take the next fortnight to send donations into school.
Each day, we will collect the items and update the running total. Many thanks, as ever, for your continued support.
