Learning lit up thanks to Lego, with a very special STEM-based workshop here at Mylnhurst yesterday.
Children in Preps 2 and 4 headed to the Chapel to construct their own Electro Cities, using Lego bricks and plates to build the architecture, simple battery-powered circuits, switches and buzzers to illuminate the buildings, and motors to power little trains.
Pupils worked in pairs to design their cities, and got to grips with crocodile clips to make links to conductors and insulators and understand how the various components function in a circuit.
