Move over Richard and Judy!
Our little bookworms in Prep 3 have got the bug for books, setting up their very own Prep 3 Book Club!
Just in time for World Book Day – and inspired by our staff’s Mylnhurst Book Club – the class held their very first meeting with hot chocolates, marshmallows, and a cosy new seating arrangement, to discuss their thoughts on the book series Zoe’s Rescue Zoo.
Each child chose a different story from the 28-book collection by author Amelia Cobb, wrote a little book review, and chatted through their likes, dislikes, favourite bits, and whether they’d recommend the stories to a friend.
What a gorgeous combination of fostering the children’s love of reading and boosting their confidence in public speaking.
