A wonderful evening, in the grandeur of Sheffield Town Hall, at the Sheffield Federation for School Sports Annual Awards – celebrating Mylnhurst pupil Thomas Ramsden being named Sheffield’s Primary School Sports Personality of the Year.
The SFSS is an amazing organisation, dating back to 1889, enabling schoolchildren to participate and compete in sports at all levels – and we were so honoured to see 80m City Athletics champion Thomas recognised for his achievements alongside all the other worthy young award winners from across Sheffield.
So lovely too to see another former Mylnhurst pupil, Bella, receive the Special Award for contribution to secondary school sport!
Two city-wide award-winners in one evening: not bad for one tiny school.
