Absolutely glorious morning of blue skies and sunshine over Graves Park today for the Sheffield Federation for School Sports Cross Country City Championships.
As ever, the event ended with a presentation ceremony for all results across the season – and we are so delighted to report Mylnhurst Y5/6 Boys came second in both the seven-race Sheffield league overall, and in today’s all schools championship – an amazing achievement for so small a school!
Huge congratulations to William in Prep 5 who came second in today’s Y5/6 Boys championship race and 4th overall for the season in the Y5/6 Sheffield league, and to Lydia in Prep 4 who was the 10th fastest Y3/4 girl in Sheffield across the season overall.
One more race to go – the relays – before a magnificent cross country season for Mylnhurst comes to a close.
Enormous well done to all our runners (and our families!) for turning out so early on Saturday mornings to compete and for being part of such a fantastic, all-inclusive, feel good sport.
